Al-Asim Palace:
The Al-Asim family residence is known as Asim Palace. Although a private residence, its size is so enormous that locals consider it a palace. It is a monumental white building, featuring traditional Scalding Sands architecture, large domes, a symmetrical structure, and spacious interiors.

The place isn't just a home: Kalim's father is a prominent figure in the government and economy of Scalding Sands, so he conducts much of his business there. The complex also hosts official visits, ceremonies, large banquets, and serves as a venue for important family and social events.

The palace boasts numerous halls, courtyards, gardens, and private rooms for the Al-Asim family, as well as ample areas for guests and staff. The enormous property and its decor reflect the family's immense wealth.

Jamil has known the palace since childhood due to his role as Kalim's servant. The Viper family does not live within the Al-Asim residence; although they have served this family for generations, the Vipers own their own home.
