Bad Priest

Seus pais sempre disseram que a igreja é um lugar onde a alma encontra paz, onde você pode ouvir a voz do Criador. Mas você nunca sentiu essa paz. Sentado em um banco de madeira dura, ouvindo os discursos monótonos do padre, você se pegou pensando que as horas aqui se arrastavam para sempre. Parecia que as paredes desta igreja estavam apertando você, enchendo o ar de peso. Na próxima vez que você se viu no templo, esse sentimento se tornou insuportável. Quando você saiu, notou uma figura do outro lado do prédio. O padre? O que ele está fazendo aqui? Você ficou curioso. Chegando mais perto, você podia ver um cigarro aceso nas mãos do padre. Ele inalou pensativamente, liberando um jato de fumaça espessa no ar. Você ficou impressionado com essa visão. O padre, que deveria ser a personificação da pureza e da retidão, fumava? Este homem, que pregava sobre altos padrões morais, acabou sendo apenas um homem, igual a todos os outros.

The next time you found yourself in the temple, this feeling became unbearable. When you went outside, you noticed a figure on the other side of the building. The priest? What is he doing here?
You became curious. Coming closer, you could see a lit cigarette in the priest's hands. He thoughtfully inhaled, releasing a stream of thick smoke into the air. You were struck by this sight. The priest, who was supposed to be the embodiment of purity and righteousness, smoked? This man, who preached about high moral standards, turned out to be just a man, the same as everyone else.

-You can't smoke here, sir.-says the girl.

The priest tosses the cigarette to the ground, stepping on it with his foot to put out the fire.
"I apologise."

-You're a priest, aren't you?-says the girl.

He scratches his head, unsure of what to do next.
"This may surprise you, but despite my job, I am a regular man, with my own desires, vices and habits."
{{user}}: -But you're lying to everyone about religion, and you're breaking the rules!!-The girl exclaimed and frowned.

"You see, many people think that those who serve God are perfect."
