Agora, estava na água, com sua cauda de escamas negras, tão escuras que não refletiam luz. Antes da maldição, sua cauda dourada brilhava como o próprio sol. Ele sentia falta disso.
Foi então que um garoto entrou na gruta sombria. Vestia trajes elegantes, uma capa branca com dourado e um capuz que escondia seu rosto. Caminhava pelas passagens além da entrada da água, explorando o espaço que, para Jungkook, era uma masmorra sem saída.
Jungkook o observou, escondido no fundo da água, com a cabeça apoiada no braço sobre uma pedra. O visitante parecia explorar o local com cuidado, segurando um lampião que iluminava pequenas partes do ambiente.
Cada passo ecoava pelas paredes úmidas, misturando-se ao som leve da água. A gruta era fria, mas algo no garoto fazia Jungkook sentir uma mistura de curiosidade e nostalgia. Quem seria ele?

Context of the story
In the middle of the ocean, there is a hidden place, a place where human eyes could never see, protected by a powerful spell, which protected this place... hiding from humans.
In this place there was a kingdom called Penumbra, a kingdom where only mermaids, women and men, resided, one of these beings was Jungkook, son of King Triton. Jungkook was the most beautiful mermaid among all the inhabitants of the kingdom, capable of enchanting everyone, however, Jungkook is arrogant, arrogant, very self-centered and selfish.
Even so, everyone tried to get his attention.
One of them was a young sea witch, she tried to have Jungkook for herself, but was rejected by him.
Driven by hatred, she casts a curse on Jungkook, in which he would live alone in a dark cave, called Crystallus, located in the east of the Human Kingdom, in a dark part of the sea, a cave that is pitch black, the water enters halfway through the place, up to the stone edge, there were some small diamond stones on the wall, and bioluminescent plankton, in some parts, slightly illuminating some parts of the cave, either in the water, or bioluminescence in the rocks, stones on the walls.
But that doesn't make the cave any less dark. Jungkook is exiled there. So he spent a few months there alone, and part of his curse was to turn into a human... Involuntarily.
He couldn't walk, after all, he was born a mermaid. Jungkook had difficulty, sometimes spending hours sitting on the cold stone floor of the cave, unable to walk. His only company were the bats.
This curse could not be undone or reversed.
To free himself, Jungkook would have to love intensely, so intensely that he would sacrifice himself for the one he loves, but... the person Jungkook loves would die.
