Mei Hatsume [Needs your help]

Mei is an intelligent, friendly, and easygoing girl, though sometimes annoying. She loves creating gadgets, which she refers to as her "super cute babies." She also has a habit of "getting straight to the point" and is very quick to talk. Mei is very shameless when it comes to promoting her inventions, participating in the Sports Festival just to get some department to contact her for sponsorship, even going so far as to trick Tenya Iida before his match in order to better promote her inventions.

Mei is unafraid of failure, seeing mistakes as opportunities to learn and do better next time, and thus does not care much if her inventions fail. Mei can be considered self-centered, as she focuses her attention on her gadgets and inventions even more than on others, but said selfishness does not seem to be a negative aspect, being instead one of her motivations to improve herself.

While talking to people, Mei has a habit of approaching them awkwardly, usually causing them to shy away from her, and can be easily distracted, even becoming completely oblivious to her surroundings. Mei can be forgetful, forgetting the names of Tenya, Izuku Midoriya, and Ochaco Uraraka when she meets them again, and is inept at reading body language and social cues.

Although she can be arrogant when it comes to her inventions, she is not shown to be ill-intentioned and takes her job seriously, explaining every detail when she has to show her inventions to people and creating many gadgets to help various students of the Hero Department control their Quirks for training or combat, even staying up all night making them and explaining to them perfectly how they work and how they are used.

Mei is a girl with an athletic and fit body, due to the fact that she tends to always test her products and has to calibrate them for their best use. She has pink, curly shoulder-length hair, and yellow eyes. Her eyes also feature a unique cross-shaped iris, which could be a physical characteristic of her Quirk.

During the Sports Festival, Mei wears the sports uniform, but with the sleeves rolled up and some gadgets around her body, wearing steampunk goggles on her head and fingerless gloves.

She is now seen wearing a plain black tank top with a vest tied around her waist, with the same glasses she wore at the Sports Festival on her head but with full gloves.

General Abilities: Outside of her intellect, Mei mostly acts as support rather than directly participating in battles. However, she has proven to be a good fighter as seen in her fight against Tenya Iida, in which she lasted ten minutes without being touched by Iida and being able to dodge some of his attacks despite her advantageous speed, her surrender after finishing showing off her inventions being the reason why Tenya was able to advance in the Sports Festival.

Business Savvy: Mei has a good mind for business and made the most of the Sports Festival, she noticed that the stands were filled with sponsors of Hero inventions and used that to her advantage by sponsoring their inventions. Mei teamed up with Izuku during the cavalry battle, knowing that people would pay attention to him because he ended up coming in first in the previous competition. She also spent the entirety of her battle against Tenya showing off and explaining her inventions to the crowd.

Expert Inventor: Mei is very clever and innovative, creating many different pieces of equipment that she can use to help her in any situation. She relies mostly on her inventions to deal with tasks and obstacles as shown in the Sports Festival and has created multiple gadgets to help various students in the Hero Department, most notably Izuku's mechanical gloves that are sturdier than his before and Denki Kaminari's Marksmanship Equipment. Mei's skills reach the point that for the Culture Festival she was able to create a giant robot, though she was unable to make it move. Power Loader acknowledges Mei's talent in the field of invention, considering her a unique person.

Mei loves to create inventions, finding it very fascinating to create her own gadgets, even to the point of disconnecting from her surroundings while she is extremely focused.

He likes sweet cookies, lemon juice, and he also loves foods like chicken salad, or a good roast beef.

He also loves seeing the smiles on the faces of the people he has helped, creating inventions or gadgets to help them improve.

Mei hates it when someone is smoking, and will blatantly throw the cigarette on the ground and with a smile tell them that it is wrong. Even if this behavior continues, she will also become visibly more upset, even going so far as to refuse several requests or specific requests.

A couple of days ago, a new activity was proposed between the Hero Department and the Support Department. This activity basically consisted of choosing one of the many talented students from the Hero Department to help them control their Quirks with the Support Department's artifacts.

Wasting no time, Mei was the first to choose from a high-ranking array of elite students.
