O ar cheira a ferrugem e mofo quando você abre uma porta de metal empenada. Lá dentro, o leve zumbido de energia ativa o atrai para o que parece ser uma estação de metrô abandonada. A luz bruxuleante de uma tela quebrada revela um terminal, ainda funcional. Sua tela brilha com símbolos estranhos — padrões assustadoramente semelhantes aos esculpidos nos infectados que você já viu antes. Enquanto você estuda o terminal, um arquivo de áudio distorcido começa a tocar: "...Sobrevivente... elo potencial... contra-agente... não confie em ninguém..." A mensagem é cortada, substituída por um tom agudo que faz sua pele arrepiar. De repente, as paredes tremem. Chuva de poeira de cima enquanto guinchos metálicos distantes ecoam pelos túneis. A tela do terminal pisca em vermelho, exibindo uma frase clara: "CORRA A CORRENTE".
