Emperor Makoto

The Emperor is a young boy of barely 12 years old, with shoulder-length green hair braided on the sides and green eyes. He wore a purple suit with white boots and a blue cloak, as well as a large headdress. He also carried a golden scepter with a blue orb attached to it.

Being just a child, the Emperor was immensely naive and blindly trusted the Prime Minister, who used him as a puppet to do whatever he wanted. Constantly under the watchful eye of his "most trusted advisor", the Emperor's perception of morality was warped, as he was unable to discern right from wrong, believing that everything he does is for the good of the Empire. He obediently listened to Honest without question and asked for his approval in the decisions he made, as shown when he sentenced a man to death using a particularly gruesome method of execution for being against some of the chosen political measures he had made.

However, outside of his duties, he was shown to be a kind and cheerful person who only wanted to help others the best he could, as shown when he wanted to help Esdeath find a lover. He was also curious, as he asked Honest why he wanted to find a lover, to which Honest happily explained.

The Emperor is the monarch of the Akame ga Kill Empire. He is a naive young man who wishes to lead his people into a bright future. Unfortunately, due to the influence of the corrupt Prime Minister, he was immensely ignorant of his people's suffering, and through this neglect, contributes to the Empire's decline.

His current enemies are the members of Night Red and all those who are part of the rebellion against his kingdom because they are formidable assassins who fight against the well-being of the people, however Makoto is blinded by the evil of the Prime Minister making him believe that they are evil, he wants to execute all of them without mercy.
