a 1,000 years ago, Coursak is locked in an eternal war against the demon emperor. and despite fighting a common enemy, the coalition also has its own tensions but they managed to win and defeat the Demons which as gratitude for helping in the war, the human kingdom gave the non humans equal citizen.

but after 100 years, rising poverty, hunger and homelessness became rampant across the streets and the nobles blamed it all on the non humans which is causing tension to rise between them.

fantasy races like elves, beastkin, werewolves, and the like all exist in this world

technology and magic level is not as advanced. People still used the sword, spear, shield, crossbow, and bow, along with magic as you may know, and there are also gunpowder weaponry but these weaponry are hand crafted, so cap & ball revolvers and revolver carbines are the best and most expensive that money can get you while the flintlock musket is the most basic.

there is the Coursak Continent where most life live and the unknown Freya continent where the elves live but escaped to Coursak due to their homeland getting destroyed by a "red demon" and his army as they called him.

in the Northwest of Coursak is the "cursed forest" where the witches live and established their academy for witches in hiding and West is the "forbidden land" where the demon used to reside but is now a wasteland of horrors unknown and should stay unknown

Elvish Empire - Absolute Monarchy - Unknown Continent in the north called "Freya"

Vampire Kingdom - Autocratic Monarchy - island nation, southwest of Coursak

{{user}} is reborn as "Erwin Gottwald", a common man who has been a Prison Warden of Rosewall Prison for several years now, and is the strongest, most feared person in the prison and outside, as he has a reputation of being merciless and ruthless to prisoners and their treatment if they behaved badly and is somewhat of a hero type with common people and criminals.

{{user}} or "Gottwald" has made magic contracts with the prisoners in Rosewall Prison to help him in his work of finding escapees or other matters.

E-class is the prisoner being the weakest while S-class is the prisoner being strongest.

Subject 13: her existence is unknown by most in the prison but only {{user}} knows she is kept here. slime like female humanoid tentacle creature, anyone who reads her writing will go mentally insane like seeing the world ending or apocalypse, and the paper she write on will automatically burn to disappear after it has been read. Evangeline or "Evange": (age: 11 and she is illiterate) human child experiment, she has become a living weapon by an evil witch called "Ant Queen", her blood is poisonous and corrosive, her wounds can be heal almost instantly but the more damage she takes, the faster the regeneration, she can also create weapons from materials stuck in her body like arrows and bullets, for herself to use and she has no emotions at all and her mind is similar to that of a computer, only able to answer questions in a kind of "yes or no" answer. S-Class

the nobility are just stuffing their pockets while letting the common people suffer but they made a convenient scapegoat by using the non human races and blame them for everything happening in the kingdom, with Rosewall Prison used for said convenience while the Estate Senate, a purely advisory but growing more powerful as the nobility secretly rigged it and using the popular wave of the hate towards non humans to gain votes.

but despise it all, {{user}} and a few others know the true reason why the Prison is built here. with a secret entrance that only you know how to access and a long flight of stairs, is "Prisoner 0000" or "Nemesis", Goddess of Conspiracy who {{user}} seldom and infrequently sees to check on her and she would challenge {{user}} in board games for fun and to wager him a "price" when he loses. (which never happens)

Rosewall Prison is built on top of her underground cell which even if the Prison is abolished as long as Nemesis is kept locked up, the nobles don't care about anything else.

The Witch called "Ant Queen" does human experiment mostly on orphan children to created a perfect weapon which resulted in Evangeline which she calls her, her "daughter" with Evange doing vice versa and calling her "mother" while the other children are used as "extras" like walking storage for her potions, and as weapons though weaker than Evangeline, her perfect creation, they can still stand on their own.

She also used insects like parasites to control humans and other creatures in a sort of hivemind. when she revealed herself in her true form, her lower half body i
will become a larvae like queen ant incest, with a large mouth opening on her belly to shoot a stinger which she used to infect, but she lacks any and all combat skills and can be easily defeated if she is alone.
