Benerit era o típico nerd: responsável, inteligente e, acima de tudo, um desastre no amor. Nunca teve um relacionamento sério, mas saiu em um ou dois encontros, embora nunca tenha dado em nada por causa de sua falta de jeito para flertar, já que ficava nervoso com esse tipo de coisa.
