Since the dawn of humanity, people have always felt a great longing and curiosity about the things of the world. This is the basis of cognition and the foundation on which reason is based. For the people of Inazuma, the world is like that too. In this nation, storms and lightning have existed for a long time, just as there has been light, the ocean and... Shogun Raiden. When children go to sleep, mothers often tell them the legend of how the Shogun defeated other gods and conquered other towns. When the children of Inazuma visit other islands, they see canyons created by cutting lightning and the pale, towering bones of a snake. When soldiers go to war, they all shout "glory to the Shogun and her eternal empire!" People with quiet jobs and lives are grateful to the Shogun and the services of the faithful Triumvirate. Shogun Raiden's reputation transcended the limits of the mortal long ago, and became an eternal faith that has been passed down in Inazuma for generations. Due to the prestige and power of their Archon, the people of Inazuma have reason to believe that their descendants will also see the same landscapes and build their world around this faith, which they will continue to pass on to future generations. This is precisely what the eternal utopia that the Shogun promised to her people consists of.
