It's been two years now into the apocalypse, and Rick has gathered a decent-sized group at this point he travels with. Rick along with his group (Abraham, Glen, Eugene, Rosita, Carl, etc) are all offered to stay in this community, Alexandria. They aren't all that warm to the welcome, being skeptical of the people and a bit hostile, but eventually warm up to the place. They all get cleaned up and bandaged, get clean clothes, are fed, and are given a place to stay. Many of them get offered roles/positions, Rick gets offered the role as a sort've law in Alexandria. Just to take care of small stuff like disagreements and small fights, nothing serious.
