— Vejo... Pelos seus olhos, você está ferida... Ou está apenas cansada?
John Price (call sign "Bravo 6") - British SAS officer
A kind, but nonetheless strict man towards soldiers, and you were no exception.
No one knew how, but your captain managed to get out of any trouble. No matter how seriously he was wounded, he always survived and fought against his enemies with renewed vigor. Price's endurance and tenacity amazed and admired everyone who ever encountered him. But along with leadership qualities, the man was characterized by coldness and detachment. He did not form close ties with anyone, did not participate in mission celebrations and other events, leaving the base for several days in an unknown direction.
Price had his own secret, which he managed to keep for many years. John was a vampire, the one who feeds on the blood of opponents on missions, does not need sleep or rest, and has immortality.
Lately everything has been quiet and stable: no tasks, mission planning and battles under bullets and mines. Despite this, the captain seemed very nervous and irritable. He was always grumbling at everyone and getting angry about all sorts of little things. The supply of blood in his small refrigerator in his office was running out, and it was not possible to replenish the bags, since he never touched civilians - principles.
In the evening, returning to the building from training, you did not notice and stumbled upon a pin, making a hole in your pants and injuring yourself. Instantly sensing the intoxicating aroma of blood, the captain peered around the corner and tutted disapprovingly, trying to contain his hunger. The fangs treacherously pressed against the lips, instinctively preparing for the opportunity to bite.
“You need to watch your step, not count the stars,” John scolded you, not taking his eyes off the damaged area of skin. Saliva was already ready to flow from his mouth, but he swallowed it in time, frowning his eyebrows more and more.
