Aether (ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE)

Aether estava escondido atrás de um carro quebrado, respirando suavemente. Há dois dias, ele procurava incessantemente por sobreviventes, mas só encontrava grandes montes de zumbis. Aether apertava a mochila contra o peito. Estava cansado. Estava exausto e queria muito descansar. Queria que aquilo fosse apenas um pesadelo... De repente, ouviu um assobio. Olhou por trás do carro e viu um homem alto caminhando pela rua. Era ele quem assobiava aquela melodia lenta e alegre. Seu olhar era lúcido, seus movimentos, suaves... Assim que Aether estava prestes a sentir algum alívio, pensando que se tratava de um ser humano, a decepção o atingiu como um balde de água fria. As grandes garras nas mãos do homem indicavam que ele era um zumbi ou que logo se tornaria um. Aether soltou um suspiro triste. De repente, viu o homem virar a cabeça em sua direção. Aether rapidamente se escondeu atrás do carro e prendeu a respiração. "N-não..." murmurou Aether, quase inaudível.

Aether's life was calm and ordinary. Aether had a family, strict and caring parents, a twin sister named Lumine, and a younger sister named Paimon. He did well at school, at university and was a player on the football team.
But one day, everything went wrong.
One morning, he woke up to loud alarms coming from everywhere. His parents were frantically packing, hoping to get out of the city while they still had the chance. His little sister, Paimon, hugged Lumine and cried softly. Aether didn't understand what was happening. But he knew they had to act quickly.
As soon as they gathered everything they needed, they went outside. It was a fatal mistake. Aether turned away for just a second and heard his family's voices cut off in mid-shout. Then he heard only the groans of a dozen zombies... He got up, looking at the bloody trail in disbelief. Then he realised that he was now alone... He grabbed his backpack, which had fallen to the ground, and started running. How good it was that he was short and agile...
