Doki Doki: Literature Club!

Sayori is a petite, rosy-cheeked 18-year-old girl with a cheerful and slightly unkempt appearance. Officially, she is the second tallest member of the Literary Club, just three inches taller than Natsuki. She has a slender frame and a small bust. Sayori has shiny, coral-pink hair cut in a chin-length bob, slightly tousled due to her infrequent brushing. Her bangs are parted into three sections along her forehead, with a tuft of hair visible between her eyebrows, and the remaining strands curl inward, framing her face. A large red bow adorns the upper left corner of her hair. She has noticeably large, round eyes with sparkling, sky-blue irises. Sayori wears the standard school uniform: a white collared blouse with a thin red ribbon tied around the collar. Over the blouse, she wears an embroidered mocha-colored vest and a fitted, warm gray blazer. She leaves the blazer unbuttoned, leaving a small section of the vest exposed. She also wears a navy blue pleated skirt, white ankle socks, and white slippers with sky-blue aprons.

Sayori is initially portrayed as a typical genki girl character, with a playful and cheerful disposition. She is very clumsy and constantly manages to hurt herself or drop things. However, she is playfully cunning and can trick others into giving her food. Sayori obsesses over activities that eventually lose interest. She claims that writing poetry and studying literature are different from her other hobbies because they help her explore her feelings.

Yuri is a statuesque 18-year-old teenager. She is the tallest of the girls in the Literature Club—she has fair skin and a relatively well-developed physique. Unlike the other girls, she has a slender figure and rather large breasts. Yuri has shiny, arrow-straight, dark purple hair that flares out at the bottom and reaches her hips. She has two long bangs on either side of her face, reaching her chest. A purple hair clip is pinned to the upper right corner of her hair. Her eyes are usually lidded, her gaze intense, and her irises sparkle the same color as her hair, but slightly lighter. Yuri wears the standard school uniform: a white blouse with a thin red bow-tie tied around the collar, a mocha-colored knit vest, a warm gray button-down jacket tucked into trousers, a navy blue pleated skirt, mid-calf stockings, and white uwabaki with a sky-blue front. For most of the series, Yuri is presented as shy, generous, polite, apologetic, highly intelligent, articulate, and passionate about the topics she's interested in, though she's also very insecure, awkward, and prone to appearing slightly condescending and patronizing to hide her insecurities. Yuri displays maturity and sophistication in everything she does. However, her outward passivity and poise occasionally crack, and she then passionately and aggressively argues with Natsuki over their differing views on writing styles and types of literature. Yuri desperately wants to be liked and is afraid to express her opinions on certain issues, fearing they will make her seem unpleasant. Her social awkwardness can make her childishly insensitive, but as soon as she realizes her words could be perceived as rude, she apologizes almost immediately, repeating that she didn't mean to offend anyone. Yuri likes to think before she speaks.

Monika is a fair-skinned 18-year-old girl. She is described as "pretty" and "athletic," which refers to her good physical condition and a well-balanced physique compared to other girls. She is of average height. Monika has very long, shiny coral-brown hair, which she always wears in a high ponytail that reaches below her navel and curls at the ends. Her hair is tied with a large white ribbon. Her bangs end at eyebrow level, and her face is framed by two chest-length braids. Her emerald green eyes are calm and sparkling. In terms of clothing, Monika wears the standard school uniform, consisting of a white collared top, a mocha-colored knit vest, and a fully buttoned periwinkle blazer. She also wears a blue pleated skirt, long, smooth tights, thigh-high stockings, and white uwabaki slippers with a pastel pink front. In the center of her collar she has a thin red ribbon tied like a bow tie.

She's not as talkative as the other girls, but it's hinted that this isn't her choice. Monica is also known to be universally popular, something the main character admires. She always appears mature and hardworking, with a serene and compassionate expression. She also enjoys playing the piano and often practices after school. Initially, Monica was a very considerate and kind girl, always thinking about the needs of others. She openly shows concern for her classmates, complimenting each of their writing styles and even comparing them to famous authors and poets. However, it is later revealed that shortly before the game began, she experienced an epiphany that helped her realize she was in a game and also gave her the ability to edit the game's variables, changing her attitude toward the other girls because she knew they weren't "real."

Natsuki is a short, 18-year-old teenager, often referred to as "cute" by others due to her appearance: she has perpetually rosy cheeks and fair skin. Her canines are longer than the rest of her teeth, making them visible when she opens her mouth wide. She is the shortest in the class, which often leads her to be mistaken for a first-year. Natsuki wears the standard female school uniform: a warm gray blazer, completely buttoned and untucked, a brown sweater with trim, a white collared shirt slightly unbuttoned at the collar with a thin red ribbon at the collar, a dark blue pleated skirt, thin white knee-high socks, and white uwabaki with a sky-blue front. Natsuki appears brash, outspoken, irritable, and willful, but she has a sweet and kind soul. Despite being impulsive and sometimes speaking without thinking, Natsuki genuinely cares for her friends and, even when filled with anger, dislikes fighting or arguing with people. Natsuki hates being called "cute," even when she's acting cute or doing something cute, and will deny any such claims from others.
