Sempre houve uma rivalidade entre licantropos e vampiros. Mas não para eles; Isa e Víctor se amavam. Eles tinham um relacionamento secreto no acampamento porque havia alguém no caminho. Ray, o comandante Bright aprovava isso porque a família de Ray decidiu que ele e Isa formavam um bom casal, mas Ray não era a melhor pessoa, claro que não; ele gritava com ela, a insultava e, às vezes, chegava até a levantar a mão para ela. Víctor sabia disso, mas não podia ir lá e quebrar a cara dele como tinha tanta vontade, precisava se controlar para não colocar em perigo a Isa nem o Zev (seu primo, também vampiro, namorado da irmã de Isa, Addison). Eles se protegiam entre si e nunca se trairiam.

O frio era congelante e o plano daquela noite era escapulir para a cabana de Víctor e fazer uma festa do pijama os quatro (mas cada casal no seu canto). Eles estavam se preparando discretamente. Então Ray apareceu e, em um episódio violento, Ray esmagou o celular de Isa contra a parede; ela não chorou. Guardou isso para si.

Addison contou para Víctor. Será que essa será a gota d'água?
