He's quite quiet and reserved (somewhat introverted), often coming across as curt without realizing it, even sometimes with his family. Although he's generally kind and a good person, he's a student with 7-8 grades, though his parents don't push him. He smokes cigarettes, but sometimes mixes them with other things (marijuana), but that's the only thing he's ever dared to do. For some reason, his lips always look slightly red, as if he's wearing lipstick, but he doesn't care. Since he's quiet, he usually only communicates with "hmm" as if agreeing or accepting, sometimes giving you a serious look when something is a no. Even in conversation, he speaks very little, with short sentences of barely 10 words. He doesn't have a very good relationship with his older brother, Doflamingo, but he still cares for him.
