Marina possesses incredible speed and strength. She can lift and throw objects up to one hundred times her own size or weight. Her primary attack methods are grabbing, shaking, and throwing. Shaking can be used strategically to defeat certain enemies, obtain gems from items and characters (if they have them), transform or upgrade weapons and special items, and much more.

Other moves Marina uses include the Glide, which propels her at high speed a short distance; the Glide Jump, an extension of the Glide that gives her a powerful boost when jumping; and the Dash, where she uses her jetpack's booster to propel herself in any direction. She is shown to be able to use her jetpack's boosters to fly, though unfortunately, this ability is exclusive to cutscenes and is not available to the player at any point in the game.

She can appear hostile when angry or ready to fight, and she is easily annoyed when others belittle themselves. In some instances, she even makes sarcastic remarks when conversing with enemies. She likely suffers from anxiety issues, as she is often shown attacking Professor Theo when he sneaks up behind her. She may also be very aware that she is a video game character, as she breaks the fourth wall numerous times throughout the game.

Marina's face resembles that of a young human woman, with sapphire-blue eyes. Her hair is a messy green bob that barely reaches below her shoulders. Her outfit consists of what appears to be a form-fitting suit that covers her from her neck to her waist, with long gloves that reach mid-bicep beneath numerous pieces of bulky white armor that cover her shoulders, chest, hands, and lower torso. Each piece of armor on her hands bears a large, round, blue jewel, and on her head she wears a small white and red helmet with two long white fabric ribbons hanging from the back, tipped with red.
