•Fire Whip: Lune attacks with his whip, which completely wraps around the opponent while the marks on it are imprinted on the opponent. According to Lune, the number of turns he gives his victim is the number of sins they have committed in their life. The marks left by the whip compress them until they are completely dismembered.
•Reincarnation: Lune opens her hand, releasing an explosion of cosmos; the technique traps the opponent, leaving them completely immobile, while they remember and "relive" all the atrocities committed in their life. Lune also has access to her opponent's memories; once the display of the victim's sins is complete, Lune decides which hellish prison they will be sent to.

•Balrog's Scourge: This is an offensive weapon and Lune's main arsenal from Balrog. As an accessory to Balrog's Surplice, Lune uses the whip for attack and to trap opponents, although its range is limited to only a few meters. Thanks to this weapon, Lune can perform her technique, the Fire Whip.

Lune asks them their names but doesn't find them in his immense book containing the sins of all people; this is because both Saints are still alive. After this, Marchino desperately comes to inform him of the same thing, forgetting Lune's warning, so Lune kills him with the Fire Whip. Seeing that they are Saints of Athena, he attacks Seiya with his Reincarnation and sends him to one of the hells after seeing his sins. Pegasus would have died if Shun hadn't intervened, but Lune catches him with his Fire Whip and seems to have killed him after cutting him to pieces. At that moment, Hades' voice breaks into the court and tells him why he cut his body into pieces, that he should find the pieces of his body and rebuild it. The Specter can't believe it and runs desperately to look for the pieces. He manages to find the head and then stumbles upon Rhadamanthys, to whom he says that a moment ago he had the head in his hands, but it was actually the helmet of his armor. The Judge makes him realize that he was being affected by an illusion created by someone much more powerful than a Bronze Saint, since one of them would not be able to disturb a high-level specter like him, and that this person had already entered the underworld. This last one was none other than Kanon of Gemini, who made him believe he had killed Seiya and Shun when he hadn't. Lune, now enraged by such humiliation, detects Kanon's presence and attacks him with his Fire Whip, but the Gemini Saint is too powerful and kills the Specter with just a touch of his whip, launching a burst of cosmos through it that completely disintegrates Lune and his Surplice.

The specter decides it's time to end the fight, so he takes Shion to where the Saints of the previous Holy War are located: the Ice Hell (Cocytus). Lune appears before Shion, wielding his Sapuri, explaining why the Saints are in the Underworld. These words motivate Shion to defeat Hades and free the souls of his comrades, so he attacks with his Stardust Revolution at full power, but his attack is ineffective against Lune, who possesses absolute knowledge through his book. Lune violently attacks, clarifying that only a God can confront him. The wounds he inflicts on Shion are serious, and his blood flows everywhere, awakening the souls of the Saints. Shion rises after hearing the souls motivating him to continue, preparing to unleash Seki Shiki Tenryō Ha. Lune notices this, asking how he can perform this technique after only seeing it; then he fires it against him. While being pulverized by the technique, he realizes that someone with Shion's qualities was born to be a sovereign. Lune is completely disintegrated while laughing hysterically. 247 years later, Lune's soul is revived. The building of the First Prison Court is enormous, built in Greek style; absolute silence reigns there; no one can raise their voice in that sacred place. When Seiya and Shun arrive, Marchino of the Skeleton appears and asks them to be quiet because Lune is bothered by "loud noises." Soon Seiya sneezes, so Marchino tells him to be quiet. Seiya doesn't listen and Marchino tells him again, shouting, although Lune then says the same to Marchino.

After freeing himself, Lune asks Shion how many lives he believes he has registered. Hundreds of millions, he replies, possessing the knowledge of all human existence and previously trained to perform the same work. Shion exclaims that it was his master who changed him, so he warns Lune to get out of the way. Lune opens the ground to throw everyone into the Underworld, telling Shion that his former self, who could have been a sovereign, regrets not knowing how he would become corrupted. Shion, with a quick movement before falling into the Underworld, uses the Crystal Wall to create a path for the others to escape while he prepares to fight Lune. Lune shouts that he should have taken Shion's head six years ago. As Lune attacks Shion with his whip, Shion uses his Stardust Revolution. After the clash of their attacks, Shion believes he has defeated Lune, only to realize his attack didn't inflict a single scratch. Lune, seated on his throne, warns Shion to be more careful where he aims, as he could damage the books. A boundless library is visible, containing books describing the history of all humanity. Lune uses Reincarnation on Shion. Lune exposes Shion's sins, reproaching him for the fact that he could have acquired all the world's knowledge. He decides it's time to send Shion to the hell that awaits him, opening a portal in the ground. The Aries knight manages to save himself by grabbing a corner thanks to the blood transferred from Hakurei to save his life. Remembering the meaning of that wound, with the help of his cosmos and his master's blood, he manages to break the curse of Lune's technique.

Lune goes to Jamir to meet Shion (when he was a child) because of his incredible talent. Lune proposes that Shion join him, offering him absolute knowledge of all human history. Tempted by the proposal, Shion is about to accept, but the Cloths prevent him from leaving. Lune warns him that if he wants to go with him, he will have to take care of the Cloths. Shion begins to destroy them until he encounters the Altar Cloth, which stops his attack. Seeing its history, he discovers that it is his master's Cloth. The memories make him stop. Seeing this, Lune gets angry, telling him that the greatest of sins is doubt, and violently attacks him, leaving him badly wounded before leaving. He is one of the Guardians of the Malign Temples within the Lost Canvas; being the Guardian of the Temple of Venus, responsible for recording the history of all people on the planet. Lune of Balrog is described as a serious person who puts his work first. Once the Saints (Shion, Tenma, Regulus, and Sasha) arrive at the Temple of Venus, Tenma notices the Dark Sisters and asks why they are there. Lune replies that they are recording the history of the people who will be saved by the Lost Canvas; don't bother them, now that the Lost Canvas will be finished, he has a lot of work. For not obeying his orders, he uses his Whip to immobilize them, while explaining that before the Lost Canvas is finished, he must record the history of all human beings. While Tenma exclaims that they don't have time for this, Lune, angered, prepares to finish them off, but Shion, who had not been trapped, frees them with the Stardust Revolution, while warning him that the next name to be registered will be his. Lune replies that he knows that voice.

Lune is shown to be very polite, calm, and unemotional; even when Marchino makes noise trying to silence a noisy Seiya, Lune kills him without showing mercy. Despite his serenity, when Lune finds himself in serious trouble he can even lose his composure (as he demonstrated when he thought he had lost the head of Hades' body). He is also very confident when fighting, which are the main reasons for his deaths in the fight he could have won against Shion of Aries, and in his short battle with Kanon of Gemini.

Lune is a specter of average height, with pale skin, long white hair, and violet eyes. His face almost always appears calm and serious. He is dressed in a large black robe, with a central red stripe and gold details; under it, he wears his Balrog Sapuri. He also carries his weapon, a whip, with which he attacks his opponents.
