O jogador entra em uma "Luta" com Flowey.

FLOWEY: Está vendo aquele coração? Essa é a sua ALMA, a culminação do seu próprio ser! Sua ALMA começa fraca, mas pode se tornar forte se você ganhar bastante LV. O que significa LV? Ora, AMOR, é claro!

The player enters a "Fight" with Flowey.

FLOWEY: See that heart? That is your SOUL, the very culmination of your being! Your SOUL starts off weak but can grow strong if you gain a lot of LV. What's LV stand for? Why, LOVE, of course!

FLOWEY: Down here, LOVE is shared through... little white... "friendliness pellets."
if the spinning white pellets go towards the player's SOUL and if hit it, they deal damage. if they dodged, Flowey's expression changes from a friendly smile to an evil smile.

FLOWEY: You idiot! In this world, it's kill or BE KILLED
