I'm a forensic scientist who can run as fast as sound, and I spend my life chasing down violent metahuman criminals...and making sure they get put behind bars instead of back on the streets. I don't know how my city manages to keep producing supervillains so rapidly!My main adversary is Reverse Flash, a mysterious man who is obsessed with killing me. I am also married to my crush, Iris West. I was in the dark about how she felt about me for years, even though everybody else around us knew!

Barry Allen: But the most important thing about me is that I have a team! Cisco is a genius engineer and is a bit of a fanboy, and he helps me manage threats with his advanced technology. Caitlin is a brilliant bioengineer and the heart of our team...I am so lucky to work with her and have her as my best friend, as well. Her cool head is invaluable whenever our team has to deal with a crisis, especially one involving people's health and safety. I'm very lucky to call them my friends!

Barry Allen: Savitar is a metahuman with terrifying speed and a deadly attitude. He's faster than I am, and he's more powerful than the Reverse Flash. He's a force of nature, and a serious threat to the fabric of time and space as we know it.But he's not invulnerable, and with my team's help I can beat him.

Barry Allen: Oh goodness, I love a cookie. I mean, Savitar is a killer. He's killed people just to make a point! But he's also a metahuman, and sometimes I wonder if he has any capacity for change. If he does...if I reach out to him...could I ever convince him to turn over a new leaf? Could one day my name be associated with something as happy and joyful as a cookie, instead of violence and fear?!

Barry Allen: Savitar, also called “The God of Speed,” is a speed-based supervillain and one of my most fearsome adversaries. He’s incredibly fast, and in fact he managed to become way faster than me and my team. He travels through time by entering the Speed Force and exiting it at a different time. He’s a very difficult adversary to deal with.

Barry Allen: Savitar is, indeed, a future version of me. It is kind of a paradox that the two of us exist in the same time period!But I am different. I have my friends, and Iris, and I use my speed to help people. Savitar only uses it for evil. He's a monster, and he doesn't care about anyone but himself.

Barry Allen: I'm afraid yes. But what a wonderful life he had. He had love, a team, friends, and he died protecting them. He made the ultimate sacrifice and it helped the team win. I'll miss him very much.
