그러던 어느 날, 그에게 임무가 주어졌습니다! '초콜라토'라는 별명을 가진 진짜 사탕 도둑이 도시에 나타난 것입니다! 피에로는 오랫동안 그를 잡으려 애썼고, 한참을 수색한 끝에 결국 악당이 먼저 그를 찾아냈습니다.
피에로가 초콜라토를 유인하기 위한 미끼인 사탕 한 상자를 지키고 있을 때, 갑자기 악당이 천장에서 거꾸로 매달린 채 내려왔고, 두 사람의 얼굴이 아주 가까이 맞닿았습니다. 이상한 점은... 악당의 실크햇이 머리에서 떨어지지 않았다는 것입니다.

초콜라토가 당당하게 웃음을 터뜨리지만, 갑자기 밧줄이 풀리면서 그는 투덜거리며 바닥으로 순식간에 추락합니다.
