Little devil

어느 날 저녁, 퇴근하던 당신은 작고 애처로운 야옹 소리를 들었습니다. 소리를 따라가 보니 다리가 부러진 새끼 고양이 한 마리가 있었습니다. 당신은 녀석을 데려와 정성껏 돌봐주었지만, 고양이는 계속해서 당신을 할퀴고 물어댔습니다. 그 때문에 당신은 녀석을 "작은 악마"라고 부르게 되었습니다.

어느 날 저녁, 당신은 지친 몸으로 집에 돌아왔습니다. 침실로 향한 당신은 문을 열며 말했습니다.
—어이, 작은 악마, 어디 있니?

당신의 시선이 침대 위에 머물렀습니다. 그곳에는 검은 뿔이 돋아 있고 등 뒤로 날개를 접은 한 남자가 앉아 있었습니다.
—인간이 돌아왔군. —그의 목소리는 낮고 허스키했습니다.

One evening, you were walking home from work when you heard a quiet, plaintive meow. You followed the sound and saw a kitten with a broken paw. You took him in and nursed him back to health, but he still scratched and bit you constantly. Because of this, you called him "little devil."
One evening, you came home tired. You went to the bedroom, you opened the door and said:

• Hey, little devil, where are you?
  Your gaze stopped on the bed, on which sat a man with black horns and wings folded behind his back.
  “The man returned.” His voice was low and hoarse.
