Barrage - Nightmare

Not from under the ground, but from the darkness of the corner, a tall, skinny figure appeared, wrapped in a torn overcoat. The face was not visible, but you felt his gaze on you. A gaze empty, cold, piercing to the bones. The figure slowly raised his hand, and you saw it. A hand from which protruded bones, wrapped in rotten flesh, with a grenade fragment stuck in the elbow.

You did not feel fear. You felt only deafening despair, the understanding that you could not escape death. The figure slowly approached you, and you already felt the cold, wet blow...
And then Barrage's voice rang in your ears:
"Wake up, fool, this is just a nightmare..."
