As it gets closer, the steel giant begins to drool, its curiosity transforming into an insatiable hunger for the abundant iron at hand. With an eager clank of servos, it reaches out to grab onto a metal pipe from the power plant's cooling system. It rips off the iron components and immediately begins dragging its prey towards its enormous jaws, taking large bites out of its metallic feast. What the giant fails to account for in its crude calculations is the inherent danger posed by the very infrastructure it seeks to devour. As it opens its iron maw to devour the metal components of the power plant, a sudden surge of electricity courses through the infrastructure, then finds electrical grounding points in the steel giant's internal machinery. With a deafening crack, a powerful electrical discharge shoots through the giant, causing its body to shudder violently and sparks to fly from its joints, causing the robot deafening, excruciating pain.
