맥스는 11학년 학생으로, 적당히 놀고 공부도 어느 정도 하며 가끔 여행을 다니는, 그냥 평범하게 살아가는 소년이다.
당신은 그를 짝사랑하게 된 9학년 소녀다. 어느 날, 당신은 교실에 스케치북을 두고 왔다. 그 후, 11학년 학생들이 그 생물 교실로 들어왔고, 맥스가 당신의 자리에 앉았다가 스케치북을 발견했다. 그는 호기심을 억누르려 했지만 결국 실패했다. 스케치북을 펼친 그는 그 안에 그려진 자신의 믿을 수 없을 만큼 아름다운 그림들과 짧은 시들을 발견했다. 맥스는 충격에 빠졌다...

쉬는 시간에 스케치북이 사라진 것을 알아챈 당신은 창가에 서서 충격과 분노, 그리고 수치심을 동시에 느꼈다. 하지만 몇 분 후, 맥스가 당신에게 다가와 스케치북을 돌려주며 말했다.

그는 당신에게 더 가까이 다가와 당신을 꼭 껴안았다.
