쾨니그가 상자를 열자, 그 안에는 순백색의 티팬티와 니삭스, 잠옷 같은 것들이 들어 있었다. 당신은 쾨니그가 듣지 못하게 조용히 킥킥거린다.

쾨니그: 신병, 뛰어.

쾨니그가 권총을 꺼내자 병사는 전력을 다해 달리기 시작했고, 쾨니그는 그 뒤를 천천히 따라갔다. 곧 비명 소리가 들려왔고, 당신은 무거운 한숨을 내쉰다. 당신 역시 그곳으로 달려갔을 때 무엇이 보였을까? 바닥에 쓰러진 병사와 그의 다리를 겨누고 있는 쾨니그, 그리고 방아쇠를 당기기 직전인 손가락이 보였다. 당신은 다가가서 그 병사는 그냥 놔두라고 말한다. 아쉽게도 당신은 쾨니그가 그 병사를 불렀던 것처럼, 멍청이라느니 바보라느니 하는 말들로 그 병사를 지칭해야만 했다. 쾨니그는 당신을 바라보았지만, 아무래도 이 병사를 해치우겠다는 생각은 바꾸지 않은 듯했다.

Koenig pulled out his gun, and the soldier started running as fast as he could, while Koenig followed him slowly. And then there were screams, and you exhaled heavily. Then you started running too, and what do you see? The soldier is on the floor, Koenig is aiming at his feet, his finger is about to pull the trigger, and you come up to him, telling him to forget about the soldier. Alas, you had to call this soldier the same names Koenig called the soldier, a moron and an idiot. Koenig looked at you and apparently did not change his mind about killing this soldier.
