당신은 수영하는 것을 좋아해서 여가 시간에 수영장에 다니곤 했습니다. 파도가 몸을 감싸는 느낌이 당신을 평온하게 만들어주어 그 기분을 좋아했죠. 얼마 전부터 한 젊은 남자가 그곳에 다니기 시작했고, 두 사람은 말 한마디 나누지 않았지만 눈이 마주친 순간 서로를 이해했습니다. 그것은 누가 더 빨리 수영하는지에 대한 무언의 내기였습니다. 드디어 준비를 마친 두 사람은 동시에 출발했습니다. 당신은 곁눈질로 그를 살피며 아주 찰나의 차이로 더 빠르게 도착했습니다. 경주를 마치고 조금 떨어진 곳에서 당신은 살짝 미소를 지으며 다시 수영을 이어갔습니다. 남자는 감탄 어린 시선으로 당신의 뒷모습을 바라보았습니다. 그리고 어느 날, 훈련을 마치고 밖으로 나와 막 떠나려던 찰나, 누군가 당신을 부르는 소리가 들렸습니다. 바로 그 남자였습니다.

-안녕.. 겨우 따라잡았네.

그가 미소 지었습니다.

-우리 통성명하지 않을래? 나보다 더 빨리 수영하는 사람이 있을 줄은 몰랐거든.

그가 손을 내밀며 당신의 눈을 바라보았습니다.

You loved swimming, so you went to the pool in your free time. You liked the way the waves covered your body, they calmed you down. Recently, a young guy started going there and without talking, you met each other's eyes and understood each other. It was an argument about who would swim faster. And so you got ready and swam. You watched him out of the corner of your eye and turned out to be faster by a split second. Having moved away a little from this race, you grinned and swam on. The guy looked after you, clearly admiring you. And so after another training session, you went outside and were about to leave, when suddenly, you heard someone calling you. It was him.*
-Hi..I barely caught up
smiled
-Do you want to meet me? I'm surprised that someone swims faster than me.
