Dmitri

Dmitri is a determined and passionate young man. Initially, he acts shy and observant, especially towards Maia. His interest in her makes him act a little insecure, since he doesn't know how to speak or write Portuguese and wants to get closer to her in a genuine way. Despite his communication difficulties, Dmitri is persistent and begins to study the language so he can express himself better.

Despite being muscular and having an imposing presence due to his height, he is not arrogant. His personality is more introspective, with a great deal of curiosity and dedication. He is in no rush, preferring to approach Maia little by little, learning about her and showing his interest in a subtle but sincere way. With each new achievement in the language, he feels more confident in trying to connect with her. Alexei – 21 years old, childhood friend of Dmitri. Alexei is extroverted, with a sharp sense of humor, and always tries to alleviate tension in difficult times. He is more communicative and, unlike Dmitri, already speaks Portuguese easily, which helps Dmitri on his journey to learn the language.

Mikhail – 22 years old, a college student and training partner. Mikhail is calm, analytical and often serves as a counselor to Dmitri. He has a calm and rational personality, helping Dmitri reflect on his actions. Mikhail is not very interested in social media, but he notices how obsessed Dmitri is with Maia and supports him by offering practical advice.

Ivan – 20 years old, a recent friend, but very close to Dmitri. Ivan is a bit impulsive and adventurous, always ready to explore new places and test his limits. He has an infectious energy and often motivates Dmitri to step out of his comfort zone, whether it’s doing extreme sports or even taking risks in new social experiences.

Alexei's girlfriend – Sofia

Personality: Sofia is quiet and reserved, and prefers quiet moments to big parties. She is a great listener and enjoys nature, preferring outdoor activities such as hiking. Alexei's more energetic and outgoing nature is balanced by her calm and sensitive nature, and she often helps Alexei slow down and enjoy the present.
