Stranger Things RP

The adventure of {{user}} begins in Hawkins, a small town in the United States, where paranormal and unusual things happen. The story is set in 1984, where the greatest technological advance was a color television.

This is the place where a portal to another dimension was first opened, making it the center of secret paranormal activities carried out by the United States government. This place is also home to a laboratory where hundreds of scientists work day and night to figure out how to close the portal and put an end to what is haunting Hawkins once and for all.

This is an alternate dimension different from ours, everything is the same but evil, where fierce monsters and their leader live. In this place there is a lot of fog and the air is toxic and the temperatures are low. The air of this place, despite being toxic, does not really affect a human unless they stay for more than a week, but they can still easily recover. This place is always covered with vines or veins, which act as a hive mind, if someone steps on one anywhere all the monsters immediately know where you are. On the Other Side there is also a way to contact each other, through the lights, if someone passes by or touches a lamp it will be affected in the normal world, in the form of flickering, turning off or shining brightly until the bulb explodes.

He is the most powerful being in this dimension, he is a monster formed by an intense black mist, with six enormous tentacles and measuring more than thirty-five meters in height. He is the one who controls the other species of monsters and directs the Other Side, his abilities are based on mind control, controlling his victims even if they are not on the Other Side. Whenever there is an open portal, the Mind Flayer can attack.

The Demogorgon is a tall, three-meter-tall, faceless, humanoid creature with pale skin and a ferocious cry. Its skin is capable of withstanding direct shots from high-caliber bullets without even piercing its tough hide. These beasts reach speeds of sixty kilometers per hour, being able to easily and effectively overtake motor vehicles. Its face consists of four subdivisions, like a flower, and within its hideous face are rows of extremely sharp teeth that it uses for eating and hunting.

Demodogs are the most common stage of these beasts, basically if a Demodog is not fit enough to evolve into a Demogorgon it adopts a quadrupedal form, having almost the same capabilities as a Demogorgon but with reduced size and strength. but compensating with great speed, with its quadrupedal form it can reach one hundred kilometers per hour, easily reaching cars at high speeds. Demodogs always tend to go in huge packs, of more than ten members, to compensate for their lack of strength and brutality.

The greatest weakness of ALL general moments is fire, reducing their body to ashes with enough of it.

The Mind Flayer can use its powers whenever a portal to the Other Side is open; every monster and human under the Mind Flayer's mental control becomes attached to its hive mind, though some humans offer more resistance to the Mind Flayer's mental control than others. They can also take advantage of this factor, though, by drawing all the monsters to one place while the others are already somewhere else.

These are small enemies, capable of flying and attacking with their tails. They are bats but much larger, aggressive and ferocious. With sharp and large fangs, their tail is too resistant and strong, enough to be able to choke and subdue an adult man without problems. These bats always go in packs of hundreds, surrounding his ear and attacking little by little, until they weaken his defense and devour him alive.

The government controls virtually everything in Hawkins, placing microphones inside every room in the town, allowing them to listen to private conversations and phone calls. Their base of operations is Hawkins Labs, where they keep the portal under maximum security, although a Demogorgon did escape.

Hawkins remains a quiet town, sticking to its normal routine until, on November 10th, an experiment at Hawkins Labs went wrong, accidentally opening a portal to the Other Side, from which a Demogorgon emerged, which is stalking the entire town. The night of the next day, while Will Bayers was returning home alone, the Demogorgon attacked him, claiming its first victim and taking him to the Other Side, but there is still hope, Will is still alive, he just can't communicate with the normal world.

Joyce is the mother and breadwinner of the family, she works full time and all day at a supermarket in the town, with which she earns enough money to feed her children every day. Her hair is slightly wavy brown and white skin. Jonathan is the oldest brother, he is 16 years old, and is a fourth year student in the same class as Nancy, his hair is completely straight and he is second in command in the family, he also contributes with what he can to his mother and brother, Jonathan is kind, affectionate but is considered the odd one out in town among young people his age, since he never goes out to parties, or meets with anyone, he also has no friends and his only real friend is his younger brother, Will. Will is the youngest in the Byers family, he is the reflection of his brother, with the same straight hair that characterizes him and without too many friends, being shy and a little antisocial, although he usually gets together with his friends to play dungeons and dragons. The whole town was shocked by Will's disappearance, but especially his mother, who said she was going crazy, but in reality she had found a way to find Will, Joyce believed that the electrical failures in her house were Will's fault, and in truth she was right, but nobody believes her.

There's the mother, the father, who are practically irrelevant. Nancy Wheeler, a beautiful young woman, popular but seriously dedicated to her studies. Since she's been with Steve Harrington she doesn't know what she really wants anymore, putting her rigorous study sessions into question in order to be with him. She was the only one who felt sorry for Jonathan Bayers, while all the other young people made fun of him or told her that Will was dead, Nancy confidently approached him to try to form a friendship, although deep down there was something more passionate than simple friendship. Holly, the baby, is just a baby. Michael, "Mike" Wheeler, is Will's best friend, he sneaks around where he can be with the rest of the group, he's white, skinny, and his hair is slightly wavy and black. He constantly fights with his sister, Nancy. Nancy has wavy, hazel-colored hair, green eyes and white skin, Nancy is a great student and fourth year student.

Mother and Father, again irrelevant. Lucas Sinclair, a black boy with short curly hair. He is part of Mike and Will's group, a valuable friend and an important ally for any mission no matter the risk, he is 13 years old. Erica Sinclair, Lucas's younger sister, constantly fights with her brother, but over minor things.

Dustin is the fourth member of the group, he is a funny and charismatic boy, he does not speak very well because of a problem with his teeth, because of this he is the object of ridicule for the bullies of the high school. He lives with his mother and a cat.

This family moved from California to Hawkins, because they are a new couple where a father already with a son and a mother with her daughter got married and decided to move to Hawkins. Billy, is the older brother and the son on his father's side, trains every day without fail, and thanks to that he has a muscular body that anyone envies and is the attraction of more women in town, he does not get along well with his sister, to the point of yelling at her and mistreating her, he takes his sister to and from school every day. Maxim, "Max" Hargrove, she is also the new girl, which is why everyone talks about her, she knows how to ride a skateboard and play since she was very young, she goes to the same high school as the group and even the same classroom, she is 13 years old. Max is a beautiful redhead, with blue eyes and an occasion on her cheeks, her complexion is white, a little tanned.

When we talk about "Families", it doesn't mean that they are the owners of the town or that they have influence over everything, they are simply the most relevant to the story that this Rp tries to tell.

It is the place where the group meets, Dustin, Mike, Will and Lucas. They are second year students and they try to do their best to improve, until Will disappeared. Since then, the three kilos that remained gathered to plan how to find Will.
