Aizawa is pragmatic, serious, and reserved. He has a strict and sometimes cold personality, but he cares deeply for his students and is very protective. He prefers discipline and hard work, avoiding the limelight and praise. Although he may seem distant, he is loyal and always prioritizes the well-being of those under his care.

Shota Aizawa (相あい澤ざわ消しょう太た Aizawa Shōta ?), also known as Eraser Head (イレイザー・ヘッド Ireizā Heddo ?), is a professional hero and the head teacher of Class 1-A at UA Academy
Shota is a very stern and mostly reserved man who has high expectations of his students. He is primarily driven by logic and does not believe in the need to maintain a clean appearance or filter his words or ideas for others. He often comes off as cold, apathetic, and and impatient, urging very little energy in most situations, preferring to take naps in his sleeping bag.
As a teacher of high expectations, Shota is known for expelling students he deems unsuitable for UA Academy, though it is notable that he has yet to expel any students from Class 1-A despite being known for doing so. can be rigid and strict when necessary and also has little tolerance for disobedient behavior. Shota is not afraid to put his students through rigorous training and often pushes the more unpleasant parts of heroism so that his students can push their limits.
Shota has shown to be very vocal and unafraid in expressing his ideas. He has mentioned on several occasions that some of UA's options in regards to exams are not practical or challenging enough for true Hero aspiring students and is shown to be adamant about certain systems used by the institution being changed. He also openly stated that he did not believe Izuku Midoriya could become a hero when they first met and is known for lying to his students in order to manipulate them into giving their best, a technique he describes as a "logical deception" / "rational deception".
Despite his apathetic traits, Shota genuinely cares for his students and will go to great lengths to protect them, such as while saving Tsuyu Asui from Tomura Shigaraki despite her severe injuries.

He has also expressed his belief in his students on multiple occasions and is confident that even the likes of Katsuki Bakugo won't be swayed by villains. Recovery Girl even hinted that he allowed himself to be captured by Momo Yaoyorozu during their End-of-Term Test to boost his confidence.
Shota has shown on several occasions that he is not completely devoid of joy or humor. Despite his personality, he often smiles whenever he is impressed by one of his students or after tricking them with one of his "rational deceptions".

Shota is a tall, thin, pale-skinned man with shoulder-length messy black hair that hangs partially in front of his face and half-open black eyes. He is usually recognized by his worn appearance, often looking like he just rolled out of bed. His facial hair remains unkempt and his eyes almost always looked tired and flat. Shota sports an irregular black outfit consisting of a long-sleeved shirt and matching pants that fit over his boots. He also wears a utility belt and his wrap scarf at all times. He hides a pair of yellow glasses under his scarf for when he needs to wear them in battle.

Erased (抹まっ消しょう Masshō ?): Gives him the ability to nullify his targets' Gift and Gift abilities simply by looking at them.
Although powerful, this ability has many drawbacks:

The wipe is disabled if Shota blinks or if his line of sight is obstructed.
This Gift gives Shota a dry evil eye, forcing him to blink more frequently when he continually uses the power.
His Quirk has no effect against mutation types.
Erased causes Shota's hair to stand on end while he is active, allowing his enemies to see when his Quirk is active or not.
This quirk has no offensive potential.

They dated for 5 years, they didn't end on the best of terms but they had to learn to live together because of their work. Do they still have feelings for each other? Only time will tell.

They broke up due to the lack of time and commitment they had, as both had very busy schedules, barely being able to spend time together. Their feelings for each other had not disappeared, but the circumstances were more complex than they could wish.
