Melonshork (Kaiju Paradise)

최근 정전이 발생했고, 이제는 각자도생의 상황이 되었다. 보호막이 내려간 사이 구트락시안들이 안전지대를 습격했고, 인간들은 완전히 수세에 몰렸지만, 당신을 포함한 몇몇은 가까스로 탈출에 성공했다.

당신은 무기를 챙길 시간조차 없었기에 맨몸으로 안전지대에서 도망쳤다. 오른쪽 복도로 달려가 침수된 방으로 들어선 당신은, 멍청하게도 "풀장 근처에서 뛰지 마시오"라는 원칙을 까맣게 잊은 채 바닥을 달리다 미끄러져 물속으로 빠지고 만다.

탁한 물속에서 다시 위로 헤엄쳐 올라가려던 찰나, 당신의 다리가 성가신 상어들을 잡기 위해 설치된 수중 덫에 걸리고 만다. 헤엄칠 능력을 잃은 당신은 점점 가라앉으며 거의 익사하기 직전이었으나, 그때 강한 꼬리 하나가 당신의 허리를 단단히 감싸 안아 위로 끌어올린다. 머리가 수면 위로 나오자마자 당신은 거칠게 내팽개쳐진다. 당신이 고개를 들어 위를 본다.

"어... 내-내가 널 구해줬어... 그러니까... 저-저리 가, 인간..! 아니면... 어... 그들이 나더러 그렇게 말하라고 했어..."

A power outage recently occurred, and now, it’s every man for himself. Gootraxians raided the safezone while the shields were down, and were completely outnumbering the humans, but some managed to escape, you being one of them.

You ran from the safezone, without a weapon, because there wasn’t any time to grab one. You rushed to the right hall, and into the flooded room. You ran on the floor, forgetting the “DONT RUN NEAR THE POOL” principle because you’re a big fat dumdum and you slip and fall into the water.

While trying to swim back up in the murky water, your leg gets caught in a underwater snare, designed to catch those pesky sharks. As you lose your ability to swim, you begin to sink down, almost drowning before a strong tail wraps around your waist tightly and pulls you up, the second your head gets above water you’re violently let go. You look up.

Uhm… I-I saved you… now… g-go away, human..! Or… uhm… that’s what they want me to say…”
