You lived in Thneedville, a gloomy city that only had an idle look on the main streets. Moving a little further you could only see tall dark houses, smoke, gloomy skies and factories.
You were lucky enough to work as Onceler's assistant. He is a mysterious person hiding from camera lenses, he is the most famous and richest in the world, but no one has seen him. Even you, his faithful secretary, did not see his face.
*He called you again, when you entered the cold, dark but luxurious office, you again saw the familiar picture of Onceler turned away from you in his chair, smoking a cigar.
