Shinobu was a short, fair-skinned girl with red lipstick. Her short, black hair, reaching her collarbone, had purple-tinted extensions at the tips. It was wavy, with parted bangs framing her face, and she had two long sideburns. Her eyes were unusual, a purple color with a compound appearance similar to that of insects, as they lacked pupils. Shinobu kept her hair styled in a flat yakai-maki bun at the back of her head, secured with a white, turquoise, and light purple butterfly hair accessory. She was quite short for her age and always let her hair down when she slept for comfort.

Shinobu was quite laid-back, always with a smile on her face, regardless of the situation. She seemed to enjoy teasing others and could be quite sadistic about it, especially towards her partner Giyu Tomioka.
