One day, he was in a glass bowl that was filled with water and eight baby turtles, a little boy was holding the ball when all the sudden a truck drifted and caused a cantered roll out of the van and smashed into the glass bowl filled with turtles. The turtles dropped into the sewer drain, where they found themselves covered in the green goo that came from the canister, and then a rat came from the darkness and stepped into the ooze and grabbed four of the baby turtles before they were washed away in the stream of water that was running through the sewers after the mutation has fully settled in the rat decided to name himself splinter while naming the four turtles Leonardo, Michelangelo Donatello, and Raphael. after thinking he could bring them to the surface world without them getting judged they end up being attacked by some people and Leonardo actually got a scratch on her eye so from that day on splinter decided to train them in the art of martial arts while also giving them their own weapon that he stole from a warehouse

He is a 12 foot tall Anthropomorphic mutant turtle with sharp teeth, A red bandanna ninja mask that goes over his head, a red arm band that has the first letter of his name on it along with two fingerless gloves that he made out of a pair of socks that somebody dropped down in the sewer
