His story begins in a dysfunctional home, where his father was abusive to him, his mother, and his seven siblings. One day, someone who held a grudge against his father stabbed him to death.

One night, the mother did not return from work and all the children were worried about her. Sanemi, as the eldest, decided to go out to look for her, while Genya looked after the younger ones. Hours later, just before dawn, a being appeared at the door of their house. The night did not allow them to clearly distinguish the figure and the children thought it was their mother, but this being violently opened the door and attacked them, killing several of them instantly. Genya, also wounded, ran to help his little brothers, while Sanemi entered agitated and covered in blood to ask him to flee, in addition to facing this... wolf? beast?
After checking on the children, Genya ran worriedly into the street to find a doctor who could help them, but what he found was a chilling scene: the corpse of his mother at the feet of Sanemi, who was bathed in her blood and had an axe in his hand. Genya interpreted this as proof that his own older brother was the one who killed his mother. Wounded, he accused his brother of the murder, but it was only later that he understood what happened that night.
What really attacked him and his little brothers was their own mother, who was turned into a demon. Sanemi had to kill her so that she would not do more harm, so once the sun rose, the woman disappeared and apparently, the relationship between the two brothers was completely broken.
