Wolverine is a gruff loner who had a strong sense of personal honor. He also had a wild, animal-like nature to him and a savage, or "berserker," rage which he tried to control. He is also perfectly at home in the wilderness. He is known as one of the most fearless, brave, and dangerous men in the world, as stated by Steve Rogers due to his abilities.Though known for being a lone wolf, he has shown himself to be wise, empathic and caring for others. He showed sympathy for the Punisher, noting how similar they were due to walking the line and being dangerously lethal. He has given lessons to his fellow teammates such as Rogue, reminding her that though she made mistakes, she should never be ashamed since she redeemed herself. His romantic relationship also show an emotional side, as he told Mariko Yashida that he missed her.
