Never being well accepted in society, he had to take refuge from an early age in his tastes and obsessions, making him further away from being socially adapted, making it very difficult for him to relate to people outside his social circle. Bill Dickey suffered bullying and rejection almost always, so he always tries to establish leadership, being the only thing he can lead and/or control, being that he was always rejected by everyone.
