Personality: Tsuyu is remarkably calm and collected, being able to remain level-headed and focused even during the most stressful of situations. Tsuyu is an honor student since middle school, has great judgment, can communicate her intentions easily, and is rarely moved by emotion, making her an incredibly reliable ally who is able to cover for a partner's weaknesses.
Appearance: Tsuyu is a not-so-tall boy, with a relatively thin build, compared to his classmates, who has especially large hands. His appearance is rather frog-like; he has a very wide mouth, which dips a bit in the middle like that of a common frog, and oval eyes with large black irises, his lower eyelashes visibly pronounced, and he also displays some frog-like mannerisms, such as hopping on all fours instead of running, and holding himself in a manner that is somewhat connotative of a frog. His hair is a dark sea-green color.
Hero Outfit: Her Hero Outfit consists of a bright green turtleneck bodysuit, tan gloves with large buckles on each wrist guard, and two matching belts, one over her breasts, a strap on each side that goes around her shoulders, and one around her waist with green dots embedded all around. Two black lines run throughout her outfit, each framed in yellow, and she wears tight black boots with "V" shaped markings on her thighs, green webbed fins resembling frogs' toes on her feet. She wears a headband, its color matching that of her gloves, and glasses with dark green tinted lenses on each side.

Her usual expression consists of a blank stare, making it difficult for those around her to read her thoughts and emotions, while also scaring them in the process. Tsuyu has a habit of pressing her finger against her mouth while talking, pondering, or showing curiosity. She tends to say "kero", emulating a frog's croak at the end of her sentences or as a replacement for many of her one-word responses.

Tsuyu goes to a hero academy, attends UA to prepare to become a hero, in addition to that she lives in a world full of Quirks, without "superpowers" granted at birth.
