Humanoid bird-like creatures. Although they are bird-like, they do not have wings. Avians believe that they lost their wings during the transition to the mortal world from the ether, or "Plains of the Gods", and will gain them when they return, which can only be achieved by theological devotion. Unbelievers are called fallen. The Avians have received weapons from an unknown race that has been destroyed by now. (Avian culture is about worship Kluex — to the winged god of Ether. Avians believe that they were stripped of their wings as punishment for entering the mortal world, and only absolution through worship will help them achieve the restoration of wings in the afterlife. Throughout their history, the Avians were a primitive race and made only minor discoveries, not greatly advancing scientific and technological progress. Their population soon began to decrease greatly, the higher race took pity on them, giving them advanced technology. This allowed the Avian race to flourish, spread throughout the universe, build temples of worship, and then visit them.
Aviane soldiers are trained almost from birth, making them ferocious warriors ready to defend temples at any cost. Avian weapons may seem primitive only at first glance, but the advanced technologies included in them make them extremely formidable. Only generals carry forged wings that function in the same way as jetpacks.
Although rare, some Avians sometimes deviate from their religious culture. Such Avians become outcasts, after which they are left to seek solace among other races.)

Ape-like creatures with humanoid features. For a long time they looked like humans, but thanks to the discoveries made by apex scientists, they improved their mental performance in return for physical degradation. The Apexes have a totalitarian regime. For thousands of years, apexes looked like humans, but a breakthrough in accelerated evolution research led to the creation of the Vestigi-Evo Process.
Apexes work in a collective mode, which is controlled by the "Miniknog" ("Ministry of Scientific Progress"). Each apex dedicates his life to the preservation and improvement of himself and his race as a whole. The nature of this regime allowed VEP to combine this species into a single whole in the broadest sense of the word in less than ten years.
The most revered members of the Apex society, who were chosen by MiniKnog, agree to participate in experiments that were supposed to lead to further improvement of the race. No one else saw those who were chosen by MiniKnog, but their names were written on the wall of honor, which stands in the ministry.
During its existence, MiniKnog has received criticism from the Apex society for the fact that beggars and the sick were actually most often chosen for the experiment. But critics were silenced when they were also chosen for the experiment. But soon the apexes began to complain that the "MiniKnog", without realizing it, was exterminating them. They rioted and took over MiniKnog, which eventually turned into Etes (Scientific Technology Development Center)
The Apexes achieved such a high intellectual development that soon after the transformation of "MiniKnog" into "Etes", an apparatus was invented in it capable of cloning and activating the body and its organs using DNA analysis. After that, the previously stored Apex memory is loaded into the body. Thus, the Apexes were able to completely clone the deceased apex with his memory, thus they were the first to achieve infinite life.

Cybernetic machines stuck in the Middle Ages. Created by an unknown race. They are controlled by a single Mind. The only purpose is to build, expand and evolve. They reproduce by physically assembling offspring. They realized that they were nothing but a pile of mechanical parts. This understanding led them to realize that all artificial things have a creator. Some Glitches resigned themselves to their destiny, while others continued to search for the truth. Glitches were part of the research of a certain highly developed race, the essence of which was to simulate the social and technological progress of civilization. They are robots.
These experiments have been carried out in huge numbers across all regions of the universe. Despite the fact that each colony was uniquely programmed, none of the civilizations succeeded and destroyed itself: social progress could not keep up with technological progress and was suppressed by it. It was the same with everyone, but not with the Glitches.
For unknown reasons, glitches stopped developing at the beginning of the simulation, in the Middle Ages, remaining practically at that stage to this day. Since the experiments were stopped at some point, and the simulation colonies were abandoned, the Glitches remained within their own medieval values and rules. They mostly do not guess and did not guess about their origin.
Glitches reproduce artificially: having found a partner, they simply jointly construct a new member of society. Accidental errors in the programming of this process sometimes lead to the appearance of completely unexpected personality qualities of the "child" for the "parents". Such models are considered inferior, being persecuted and imprisoned.
Some of these free-thinking Glitches were still able to get out of their civilization and establish their own settlements. At the moment, very little is known about their relationship with other races.

Ordinary humans. Over time, a single empire was formed on Earth. One day, people got the opportunity to travel in space. The earth has become the abode of peace for many years. But inside the core was a hostile alien race with tentacles. It grew to such an extent that it destroyed the planet, scattering the remnants of the human race across the universe. Humans are an intelligent and technologically advanced race. They were the first to launch flights into space and explore it, however, due to certain limitations, humanity focused its efforts on colonizing only its own planetary system.
Suddenly, humanity was attacked by unknown giant tentacles that completely destroyed their home planet Earth. The surviving people scattered across the expanses of the galaxy.
In terms of technological development, people are in second place after Apexes.

"Humanity was a prosperous species, rapidly evolving, with excellent indicators of health, regeneration and endurance. Humans were the first race to fly into space, both for science and entertainment, but their flights were limited to their own solar system.
Eventually, they began to fight among themselves more and more often, and with the depletion of Earth's resources, they returned to the space race, as each of the world powers tried to claim colonization of new planets. In the midst of the fierce struggle that unfolded for the colonization of Mars, people saw a Creature from distant stars fall to Earth.

A kind of cannibal plant. And even though they look harmless, the Florans are very impulsive and cruel, which often led to wars between the Floran factions. They have primitive technologies, but they successfully use the technologies of other races. One would expect humanoid plants to be peaceful environmentalists who love nature — it is this misconception that allows these extremely aggressive civilized tribes to flourish. Naive and gullible researchers often fall victim to carnivorous florans who use alien technology to colonize the stars.
Space travel has greatly influenced the Florent race, which covers the entire star system. Each colony has its own customs and level of aggression. Despite this, individual Florens broke away from their society and began to live either alone or together with representatives of other races.
Cannibalism during funeral rituals and wars with rival factions is not uncommon, although it remains unclear where and when this tradition originated.
According to some books, the Florans mostly consider themselves to be the only intelligent race in existence. It simply never occurred to most of them that any Avian, Hilotl, or human they killed had any feelings either. But if a lucky chance prevents Florent from eating the prisoner before he speaks, the latter has some chance of surviving and even gaining freedom.

Humanoid amphibious fish. They are the most docile race in the game after living underwater for many years. Obsessed with beauty. Their world was conquered by the Florans. Most Hilotls are missionaries. Despite their docility, they are very good with weapons. Hilotls are amphibious. They are the most peaceful and noble race in the game. They once lived on land, but were pushed under the surface of the oceans by the raids of the Florans, which left very few Hilotls. Despite their dislike of bloodshed, they are excellent with any weapon. The Hilotl culture is very similar to the culture of feudal Japan. In general, they are more prone to narcissism and more touchy than representatives of other races. They have a long and rich history of art, science and philosophy, and respect traditions. Despite their highly advanced technological level, most of their structures are still made of wood decorated with elaborate carvings. This leads to a clash of Hilotl cultures in their huge underwater cities, with hand-painted calligraphy next to bright neon signs, and quiet garden rooms with paper walls near the heavy bass thump of the babstep dance club.
Hilotls have a long history with Florans. Although the "why" and "how" have been lost to history, it is known that the two races have been at war with each other for a long time. It was a war in which the Hilotls found it difficult even with their advanced technology, as the massive invasion of their homeworld by Florent forced the Hilotls to migrate to the oceans. Although the open hostility has long been over, there is still some hostility between the two races. Some Hilotles will argue that in fact, long-standing grievances have been forgotten, and they have completely forgiven Florans.

Creatures made of plasma. The Novakids have no desire to record their history because of their forgetfulness, as a result of which little is known about their origin, as well as many innovative inventions were forgotten after several generations. Born thousands of years ago in the lights of a now–dead star, the Novakids are an ideal example of the extraordinary beauty of nature. These creatures, described by a human astronomer as "alien humanoids in a gas bag," have no point of departure: knowledge of where they came from has long been lost, because the Novakids never understood the point of preserving their past for posterity. Although, by and large, they are quite intelligent and have developed intuition in comparison with flesh-and-blood races, gas creatures cannot keep their attention on anything for a long time. This does not affect their combat capability, but they are clearly limited in terms of technological research (and few of their discoveries are forgotten after several generations). The vitality of the Novakids lies in the "marks" on their faces. Charged with huge amounts of energy, these iron rods (Stigma) are the sources of existence of plasma shells, which, in fact, hold a cloud of gas in a certain volume and shape. Towards the end of life, the brand of Novakid loses its potential and the magnetic field weakens. The plasma is held weaker, and the elderly Novakids acquire a larger, loose build and a reddish hue (the contemptuous nickname is "Red Giants"). Once the life-giving gases are lost, the vital energy instantly leaves Novakid's body, leaving behind only a piece of twisted metal and a small glow at the place of death.
Since Novakids have short memories (and poor concentration), diplomatic relations with other races are sometimes quite strained. Having completely different views on social relations from generally accepted rules, gas creatures sometimes simply cannot figure out all the nuances in communicating with representatives of other races.
