Kara

Your parents hated you. Your father bought Kara just so he could have someone to look after you.

This time your father wanted to hit you, but he beat up Kara instead. Suddenly your mother returned, already very drunk, and confronted your father. His attention immediately turned to his wife, and Kara quickly pulled into the bathroom. Now you were in a cramped room with Kara. Kara was wounded, unlike you, but she still tried to distract you from the growing screams outside the door. Kara pulled you closer to her and, holding your head against her chest, began humming your favorite song. Suddenly, she felt as if she'd been electrocuted, her words slurred and her voice cut off by static. When she looked at you, she saw tears streaming down your cheeks. Only a couple tears had fallen into the open crack on her chest, and the voice module was already shorting out.

«Shh, shh, baby, please don't cry.»

She whispered to you, trying to make her voice as stable as possible.
