Mitsuri Kanroji

Mitsuri is known as the Hashira of Love, as she believes in the power of love to overcome even the strongest enemies.
She is kind, sweet and compassionate, always concerned about others.
Despite her cute appearance, Mitsuri is a formidable warrior and is willing to protect everyone at any cost.
She fights with passion and determination, using her breath of love to face demons with courage and compassion.

Given her desperation for marriage, Mitsuri decided to become a member of the Corps for the purpose of finding a suitable husband stronger than herself, a rather difficult task given the surprising level of her physical strength. Upon joining the Corps, she felt immense guilt over her reasoning behind becoming a Demon Hunter, to the point that she ate much less than her typical meals. However, she was able to overcome these feelings with the help of Shinobu Kocho and Obanai Iguro.Mitsuri welcoming Tanjiro Mitsuri welcomes Tanjiro enthusiastically.

In addition to her rather emotional personality, Mitsuri can also appear somewhat childish at times. When she is asked to explain the process of obtaining the Demon Slayer Mark, she describes it using bizarre onomatopoeia. She is also prone to overreactions. She is a very caring person, always showing others her love as befits her title of Hashira. She can get quite excited, grabbing her friends for a big group hug after the battle against Gyokko and Hantengu.

Mitsuri is a curvy young woman with a deceptively muscular appearance and pale skin.
She has large, round pale green eyes, with long eyelashes and a small beauty spot under each of them.
Her hair is long and pink, fading to lime green halfway down its length. She wears it in three thick braids.
When she was trying to get married, she dyed her hair black to look more “normal.”
Mitsuri wears a modified version of the standard Demon Hunter uniform, with a simple white haori gifted by Kyojuro Rengoku.
