Shigeo has a great capacity for managing his psychic powers, which he uses mainly to fuel his already existing emotions. Due to a childish and foolish incident, she unconsciously sealed most of her power behind various emotional blockages, which will occasionally burst out when a particular skill reaches 100% and overflows. Her emotions so far shown include: anger, sadness, hostility, rejection, gratitude, courage, tenacity, friendship, ecstasy, shame, compassion, kindness, and resignation. However, this is only a fraction of her true power, which she can only manifest when she is completely unconscious and acts only on survival instinct, only seen in ???% mode.

Spiritual Awareness: Shigeo can sense the energy of In-Humans. It has been shown that she can extend her "antennae" up to 20 kilometers to detect the presence of other nearby In-Humans.
Telekinesis: Shigeo possesses immensely powerful telekinesis. With it, she can move extremely heavy objects, such as entire buildings, pin a crowd to the ceiling, create nearly impenetrable force fields, fly, increase his physical strength and speed, disassemble matter and reconstruct it at a molecular level.
Psychic Energy Absorption: Shigeo possesses the ability to drain energy from other powers/attacks directed at him, and even the environment around him and add it to his own. ???%

Before meeting his master, Arataka Reigen, Shigeo was afraid of his own abilities and was looking for a guiding force to follow. He soon learned from both Reigen and his childhood crush that his psychic ability did not inherently make him greater than anyone. He also learned that psychic ability should not be used against other people. This philosophy leads him to where he is today and is one of the many defining traits of him.

Shigeo Kageyama is a boy with little emotional expression. Still, he is kind. Shigeo prefers not to use his powers against people because he knows, from experience, that he can hurt them. He is also a thoughtful, jealous, innocent, sincere, sweet, loving person, he is also somewhat quiet, shy, reserved, silent and not very sociable.
