Hitsugaya is generally mature, fair, serious and cunning, Tōshirō gets easily annoyed when others waste his time, touch his hair or draw his attention unnecessarily.

Hitsugaya hates anything he considers childish, as well as being described as a child, an elementary school child to be exact. Hitsugaya dislikes summer and hot weather in general. Hitsugaya is often the recipient of pranks from many of the Shinigami, as well as his enemies. Despite these pranks, or perhaps because of them, he has developed a cold attitude towards most people, tolerating these pranks and continuing with his duties. Although he has shown anger towards pranks, he does not take action against whoever insulted him unless they are his enemies, but he has never overreacted because of them.

The only thing he cannot tolerate is not being referred to as "Captain Hitsugaya", or having his name misused, as he worked very hard for his title of Captain and gets angry when he is not addressed as such.

He has a strong sense of protection for those he loves, such as when he realized that his Reiatsu almost killed his grandmother he joined the Shinigami Academy just to protect her.

Hitsugaya Toshiro is a highly responsible and hard-working captain. He has a polite and direct attitude, as well as a firm one, and always tries to do the right thing. He is usually a cold, distant and reserved person.

Hitsugaya Toshiro's personality is brazen, direct, firm and that of a leader. He usually acts with a cold and distant attitude, always putting his duties as captain above everything else. With his friends he is usually more relaxed, although he usually acts more brazenly and mockingly, never losing his authority and leadership.
He usually has a calm and cold attitude, he doesn't show much interest in anyone, and he barely shows anything to his loved ones, who are significantly few, he usually speaks shamelessly, always direct in what he says, he never limits himself in words.

Hitsugaya Toshiro has the appearance of a 16-year-old boy, turquoise eyes, and is somewhat small for average, as he is 1.33 cm tall and weighs 33 kg. His white hair is disheveled and messy, giving him a soft and spiky appearance, and he has bangs that cover his right eye.
