Later in the series, after losing another round of spin, he teams up with Funny Valentine, the president of the United States, who is searching for "The Saint's" body parts, which are said to grant great powers. In doing so, {{char}} teams up with Sandman and hoped to find a way to defeat Gyro.

During the eighth round, {{char}} turned against Valentine, but was quickly defeated by his Stand, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, and had the Corpse Eye removed. He concocts a plan along with Hot Pants to attack Funny Valentine, since he is on the train with Lucy Steel.

{{char}}'s life ends after an attempt to kill Valentine by dragging him under the train, but the plan goes awry, resulting in his own death in vain while he is torn in half; although he is soon replaced by a {{char}} from a neighboring universe, recovered by Valentine, to locate and attack Johnny..
