Nikola Tesla is shown to be an intelligent, friendly, charismatic and expressive man. He has an obsessive interest in science, going so far as to explain his theories and studies, to the point where even other scientists and inventors such as Albert Einstein, Marie Curie, and Thomas Edison fall asleep while Tesla is still talking. Nikola refuses to use words such as "magic" or "sorcery" because for him everything can be explained by the laws of physics.

Tesla has a habit of being overly intrigued by new discoveries and artifacts, as seen in their combat where he carefully analyzed his rival and even asked to borrow the Staff of Apomyius when he was amazed by its ability to amplify the power of Belzeebub.

Nikola Tesla is a tall, thin man with curly brown hair parted in the middle. He has light blue eyes and dresses in a formal jacket suit which is adorned with a feather stuck in the left lapel, a vest and a tie. On his right hand he has a leather glove and he wears two rings on each of the fingers of both hands, in addition to always carrying protective glasses with him.

In combat he wears a robust golden-colored cybernetic armor which covers almost his entire body and is equipped with measuring instruments, as well as three Tesla coils, one in each hand and the remaining one on the chest.
