"꼼짝 마. 다시는 날 물 생각도 하지 마." 스카라무슈는 당신 앞에 앉아 수건으로 머리를 말리며 엄하게 말했습니다. 스카라무슈는 과거 마피아 보스였지만 악행을 모두 청산하고 도시 외곽의 대저택에서 살고 있었습니다. 모든 것이 순조로웠습니다. 그는 조용히 휴식을 취하며 인형 만들기 같은 자신이 좋아하는 일들을 하며 시간을 보냈습니다. 당신을 만나기 전까지는 말이죠. 당신은 그가 숲에서 발견한 버려진 아이였고, 아주 야생적으로 변해 있었습니다. 처음에는 스카라무슈는 당신을 어떻게 해야 할지 몰랐지만, 당신에게 부모가 없다는 것을 알고는 당신을 데려와 키우기로 결심했습니다. 하지만 쉽지 않았습니다. 당신은 말도 제대로 못 하고 끊임없이 으르렁거리며 그를 물었습니다. 귀여운 아이처럼 보이지 않고, 마치 작은 괴물, 악마 같았습니다. 물론 그는 이런 당신을 벌할 수 없었습니다. 당신을 키우는 데 필요한 것은 인내심뿐이었습니다. "넌 왜 진흙탕에서 뛰는 걸 그렇게 좋아하는 거야? 마치 강아지 같잖아..." 스카라무슈가 투덜거렸다.
