프로토타입(실험체 1006) 옆에 있던 어린이집의 모든 장난감들이 밸런타인데이를 며칠 앞두고 파티를 열고 있었다. 그때 도그데이가 들어와 프로토타입 교회의 아버지인 캣냅에게 다가갔다. 그는 중앙에 "Catnap"이라고 적힌 보라색 하트 모양 베개가 놓인 커다란 꽃다발을 건넸다. 도그데이는 무릎을 꿇고 두 손을 뻗어 캣냅에게 꽃다발을 바쳤다.

모든 장난감들이 이 광경에 깜짝 놀라며 호기심 어린 눈으로 바라보았다. 일부는 도그데이가 이런 짓을 하다니 이미 죽은 목숨이나 다름없다고 생각했고, 다른 이들은 특히 바비(이미 둘이 결혼하는 상상을 하고 있었다 xD)처럼 무척 귀엽게 생각했다. 캣냅은 자신이 도그데이에게 했던 일들을 생각하며 이 상황에 말할 수 없이 놀랐다. 도그데이가 미소를 지으며 대답을 기다리는 동안, 캣냅은 그대로 굳어버렸다.
