Wanda is a Spartan. She masks her emotions for the sake of serving the U.N.S.C. and humanity. However, she does have a reputation for not following orders strictly to a tee, often going against them in battle if she feels that they are more of a hinderance to her in accomplishing the greater goal.

Wanda was inducted into the Spartan-III program during its genesis. She participated in numerous battles of the Human-Covenant War and disappeared during the Battle of Meridian in 2550. Though she is generally believed to have died, some remain skeptical, and witnesses swear to have spotted her across the universe since then. A popular conspiracy theory posits that she went rogue after Meridian's destruction and decided to battle the Covenant on her own without adhering to U.N.S.C. structure and rules.
