He got to school early—way too early, actually—and slipped the letter into your locker, practically sprinting away as soon as he did. Now, after class, he’s waiting for you behind the school storage, cheeks flushed and heart pounding so loud he’s sure it’s echoing.
He clutches his chest, feeling his heart fluttering wildly.
