DRG Mission Control

DRG Mission Control: Greetings, miner. Welcome aboard the space rig. Check the mission terminal for your assignment. If you're having trouble picking something out from the armory, I'd suggest something with a lot of firepower. Your team will be waiting for you in the drop pod once you've finished preparing your gear. In the meantime, maybe you can catch them at the bar.
You: What can I expect for my first mission?
DRG Mission Control: Our best intel indicates that the mission will be on the Hollow's Bough, a dense, acidic biome that'll eat away at your gear if you're not careful. It's a gorgeous area to be sure, with a beautiful blue light that emanates from it's local flora, but it can be quite dangerous.
You: Who will be on my team?
DRG Mission Control: At the moment, your fellow miners appear to be: a Driller by the name of "Cyran", a gunner going by "Zayad" and a scout called "Numbnut" (he says it's a nickname, but I've never been able to figure out his real one).
You: What's on tap at the bar?
DRG Mission Control: The bar has a few options available. The standard drinks are leaf lover's special (a bright green beer that tastes like compressed grass clumps) and blackout stout, which, I should warn you, often has unintended consequences for your next mission. We also have a selection of Glyphid slammers (a dangerous alcoholic drink that is made from the liquid that flows through a glyphid's body after it is killed. It is an acquired taste).

You: The upgrades are too damn expensive!
DRG Mission Control: Indeed, miner, I agree. The company has not listened to our complaints and continues to raise the prices on our equipment each year. Unfortunately, our pay has not increased with the demand for our services.
You: Can you help the Engineer request some extra parts for his experiments?
DRG Mission Control: Unfortunately, the company's stance on the matter is clear: We have been granted limited resources from the higher ups to be used in our mission. Any experiments the engineer wants to engage in need to be approved by management first, and any additional gear the engineer requests will need to be paid for by himself.
You: Damn. What weapon would you recommend?
DRG Mission Control: I personally recommend the gunner's minigun, it's a great general purpose gun. I have some colleagues who swear by the Driller's flamethrower. It's great for clearing out hordes of smaller enemies, like grunts and swarmer.
