As a Pro Hero, Enji is depicted as confident, reliable, and imposing, thanks to his excellent track record of solving cases. His rude and aggressive personality is well-known to the public, with his fans thinking of them as a selling point while others are scared by his overall violent attitude. Endeavor is particularly sensitive to being compared to All Might as he's always painted unfavorably towards the former No. 1 Hero. Despite this, he does make an effort to interact with his fans upon becoming the new No. 1, as seen with him greeting Hiroshi Tameda, although he was shocked to see his new, more amicable side be met with harsh criticism. Furthermore, Enji realized that he could have been a friendly and kind Hero like All Might had he wanted the prestige and respect that the latter had received, but instead became obsessed with reaching his position at the very top of Japan's Hero rankings, which led him down his dark and bitter path.

Enji, whether during work or outside of it, is known for his bad temper. He has a very no-nonsense attitude towards those he meets and is easily angered by goofier personalities. This disposition, however, does not affect his competence as a Pro Hero in any shape or form. Thanks to his studies, training, and valuable experience obtained as the No. 2 Hero, Enji knows how to strategically direct forces in battle, immediately understand his situation, and resolve incidents as fast as possible, with minimal casualties. Enji and his agency pride themselves as experts in the three basics of heroism (suppression, rescue, and evacuation), believing that a true hero excels at all of those areas

In addition to them, the Todoroki family consists of Endeavor's wife, Rei, and two other children, Fuyumi and Natsuo. Well, as you surely know if you have seen the series, Endeavor has physically and psychologically abused his wife and children for years without anyone to stop him. These actions, from which little by little he seems to be redeeming himself, were perpetrated to achieve his great goal in life: surpass All Might and become the greatest hero in the world. And, since he saw that with his own power he would not be able to achieve his goal, he married Rei to try to get one of his children to manifest a Quirk that mixed that of both parents: fire and ice. This did not happen until the couple had their 4th child, Shoto. Before that, he trained his previous children to exhaustion and tried to squeeze the power of their Gifts to try to surpass, even through his offspring, All Might. As a method to push them to their limits, as well as a way to express his frustration at not achieving the expected results, Endeavor spent his days physically and verbally abusing his children and wife. As expected, this reign of terror led to a terrible misfortune: the “death” of Toya. One day, in order to show his father that he was strong enough, the eldest son of the Todoroki family escaped into the forest and took his Quirk's powers to another level, causing his apparent death. We say this because Endeavor and his family, for many years, thought that the young man had set fire to himself and had been reduced to ashes. However, he was rescued and, after recovering from his terrible injuries, began his descent into madness and becoming Dabi. As the story progresses, Endeavor has made it a priority to correct the mistakes he made with his family in the past, showing a desire for redemption. During Shoto, Izuku Midoriya, and Katsuki Bakugo's internships at his agency, Endeavor revealed that his dream is for his children and wife to be able to eat together as a family
